GoMotorsports visit pre-Knockagh Hill Climb 17th September 2016

What a fun morning along with some every knowledgeable young Motorsports fans of the future!

On behalf of the UAC a very big thank you to Jonathan McDonald GoMotorsports RDO who gave all the children a treat today with many excited young people queueing to sit in the cars. Thanks too as well to Gordon Buckley and Carol Willis for bringing along their cars and contributing to the excitement. Of course a very big thank you to the Principal for allowing all of us in.

The questions and answer session was fantastic with some remarkable awareness of Motorsports in general and also the personalities involved. Chris Beck the COC, was bombarded with a never ending list of cars that the young folk wanted to know about and of course would any be there on the day. Ferrari, Lamborghini etc.

We even had a seat in the school gym on one of the benches whilst having a cup of tea. How times have changed in my day, no there were not slates and chalk, but technology certainly is at the forefront now with ipads and computers in abundance.

It would have been rude not to call round to the start at Knockagh.

Recce who me? There is nobody here to notice :)
